Boy I wish that new backpack would hurry up and get here so I could try it out while walking on the treadmill. The wait has become frustrating, considering it's been about 10 days since the dude at Gregory told me he'd send me a replacement pack.

Yeah, it arrived about two weeks ago. So far it seems like this thing is built to last. I have it packed up with about 60 pounds and it feels great. I've been walking a few miles on the treadmill with it about every other day.
Once I become fully convinced the hipbelt part won't break, I'll write a new review, making sure to let people know the problem has been fixed. A lot of this blog's traffic comes from people searching for Gregory pack reviews. Whenever I write the new review, I think it will be one of the most helpful Gregory reviews out there. It will help people make a good backpack choice and it should help restore Gregory's reputation for quality.
I can't wait to hit the road again with this thing. Between my dramatically improved health and the new pack, I'm very ready to get tramping again.
