The judge said I won't

The judge said I won't have a public defender because there's no chance I'll go to jail. Also because the charge is a misdemeanor.

so, does that mean the fine is $450?

what i mean is... hi, ryan. it's been awhile...

i saw glozelle's interview video of you, and it was good to see you again, even in video form. i still think about you on the road, from time to time.

that sucks that you got caught jumping trains... but any tramp, i believe, would say that it comes with the territory. i'm surprised that you went back in to court. it seems like you could have just 'disappeared'. i don't know why they'd go looking for you.

if i could help you i would, but i'm in my own deep shit that i can't see my way out of either.

i know you'll come across a solution somehow.

Hey Jay,

Good to hear from you. Been wondering if you're still pissed off at me.

No, it means I have to be back in Eloy on 11/19 for an arraignment (sp?). The fine would have been $450 if I'd pleaded guilty, but I still may end up being fined $450, depending on what happens on the 19th. If I can't get shit to go my way on the 19th, I'm just gonna say 'fuck it' and let them fine me. The bullshit I'm dealing with by having to be back in Eloy every 2 or 3 weeks is worse punishment than the fine would have been.

no, not still pissed off at you. still think you used bad judgment to post that on your blog, but not still pissed off. i am strong enough to forgive.

that's a pretty steep fine when you don't have any good income. i hope that they end up writing it off at court. how it goes will depend a lot on your demeanor, attitude, and your disposition at the time of the offense.

i'm rooting for ya.
