Intermission

If you watched the Tonight Show last night and heard a bunch of screaming for Dolly Parton, that was mostly GloZell. Shortly after the show let out yesterday, I made my way down to the Universal City subway station and took a train to Union Station in downtown LA, where I transferred to the Gold Line and took it all the way to Pasadena. Yes, that means I'm leaving LA. I probably still have a lot to say about the Tonight Show in general, but I need to tune out for at least a few days. There's too much shit going through my head right now. My brain has been horribly overloaded and I've been kinda geeking out for a long time already because I can't process everything. So I'm going to spend some time walking and trying not to interact with many people. Really I just want so shut myself off for at least a couple weeks, but I can't do that.

Hi there, Just found the site and have been reading the Blog to get caught up on your journeys. Good stuff. Honestly, why are you still in CA right now? Sounds like you are getting overwhelmed by the sites of the cities and such. Maybe it's time to visit another place. If ever you head back East let me know. In the East Tennessee area.

I'm working my way away from LA. I think I'm in Upland right now. I'll probably be back before long, though, because I actually like LA quite a bit and I've figured out how to survive there.

It's not LA that overwhelms me. I'm overwhelmed by just doing this. I never get a break, even if I take a nap in a park. Sensory overload is traumatic, even when you're being overloaded with great experiences. It's very difficult to explain.

There's a good chance I'll get to East Tennessee sometime because I have a very cool great aunt and uncle there. I think my uncle actually reads this blog regularly. Used to, anyway.
