I just went to a planetarium to feed my appetite for science, but I had to leave because it turned out to be creationist propaganda. Ridiculous!

Why "creationist propaganda"? What was it that led you to say that? Did they talk about an intelligent designer, or something, in the exhibits?

Yes, they did. Scripture too. It was sickening. I should have gone back in and taped the whole thing, at least just to have the audio. But I don't think I could have lasted the whole 20 minutes, just like the first time. I left Old Town and started walking toward the homeless shelter, 6 miles away, immediately after the presentation. That was "the last straw."

Weird. I'm accustomed to thinking about scientists as atheists, heathens, detached from all concepts of "God" and Jesus, and such. Yet, I suppose since there are many scientific projects being funded by the Church (Vatican), that there are plenty of religious-based scientists out there. That must have seemed strange. It would have been cool to get some audio of that presentation, I agree. That's okay. Maybe you could write down what you remember of it. It's interesting how stereotypes of scientists can lead us to give them credibility.
